Don't Compete and Feel Complete

Each decision we make, each event in our lives, is another page in our own story, and that story is unique from anyone else's. In fact to have our story, we need people to have their own stories as well. Some would say others are more interesting than our own, but that's all a matter of perspective. The daring deeds of Ernest Hemingway would seem perfectly average to any tribal person of Africa.

So, you see, you get your own story, and you get to revel in the beauty of other's stories as well. Realizing that their existence implies the whole library. When you see this, you see there's no reason to compete, because some will always prefer action adventure, others romance, but you, you have an opportunity to write one that's all your own.
