Acting From Success
by Sueños on 04/04/17
Today I'd like to discuss an idea that has its roots in the (in)famous Law of Attraction; however, I seek to come at it from a more pragmatic and realistic angle. The idea is quite simple: act in such a way that you already have accomplished what you desire. For example, if your goal is to break into senior management, perform your job now, like a senior manager would. How would someone with that level of experience handle the struggles of your job? If your goal is to get in shape, how would someone who is in shape approach going to the gym?
It's the same principal of : dressing for the job you want, not the job you have, except one up. It's taking that same ideology, and allowing it to influence your thought process. Acting in such a way will help you keep centered, and allow you to stay focused on your goals. I'm not asking you to rely on some magic field, but on your ability to examine your own behavior and adjust that which is not in line with your ultimate goals. Act from success, and watch how obtainable your dreams become.
